Nowadays, when developers are expected to master more and more technologies, quickly move between projects, teams and domains, it is more important than ever to use tools that speed up, automate and otherwise facilitate everyday programming tasks. The basic programming tool is the IDE, which integrates many additional tools that we once had to install separately. So within our favorite IDE we often use the Git and DB plugin. I will skip these basic tools in this lecture, to talk more about tools that speed up daily repetitive routines, help interact with the application we are developing, and allow monitoring of the application environment. The list of tools that I will present is created based on a survey of fellow programmers, whom I would like to thank for sharing their experience. Whether it's text editing, calling SOAP or REST services, detecting network problems, analyzing network traffic, reviewing large logs, analyzing the processes and resources they take up - there are a number of more or less known tools for each of these tasks that ensure their fast and effective resolution. The goal of this presentation is to make sure that you use the best tools available, but also to get acquainted with some new, useful tools, which will take an important place in your toolbox.
